Hi! I'm Dianne, owner of Viridian Focus, a busy mother of two small children and an active participant in my community. I have a passion for the environment and bringing people together so I started my own environmentally inspired event planning business. I am an "almost" native of Colorado where my family and I love the mountains and exploring the trails. My husband, Shawn, and I are committed to living in harmony with the environment and passing on our respect for its beauty, natural resources and healthy living to our children.

My first exposure to event planning was in the early 90's when I worked with friends to put together a motorcycle and car show. At the time the event drew around 5,000 attendees and is 3 times that size today. I was hooked! After receiving a B.A. in Organizational Communication from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, I got a corporate job where one of my many duties was to put together employee and client parties and training seminars. Over the years I have volunteered with several non-profits to bring to life various fundraising events in addition to hosting a slew of family and neighborhood gatherings including an annual 4th of July Kids Parade and an annual Holiday Party with a Children's Used Gift Exchange.

I love everything about event planning - designing a get-together to meet a specific goal, meticulously coordinating the details, working within a budget and finally witnessing people enjoying themselves as the event comes to life. My enthusiasm and passion for bringing people together while respecting our natural resources is evident in my dedication to creating the event of your dreams!
